merging people on Ancestry - a cautionary tale!

I am probably the only person silly enough to have done this, but just a warning.

I had managed to duplicate some of my tree (goodness knows how) and contacted Ancestry for advice. They were very helpful, guided me through the merging process, and all was well.

However, I have now managed to carelessly merge two different individuals - and it can't be reversed! Now ploughing through deleting etc.

So - merge with care!

Why not take relevant information about both people write it down and then delete one or both of them and start again

I've sorted it out Keith.
The point of my posting was to alert others so they are careful, not to ask for advice..
