I was recently contacted by a person on Ancestry who he believes we have the same 3 gt grandfather. This is a brick wall in my tree and I have no details of him so can't give this person any details. He believes he is a descendant through a son which I didn't know existed.

I had a death for a person of the same name but didn't have the certificate so I ordered the certificate in the hope this mystery son was the informant.

The certificate arrived today and all I can do is smile

The cause of death is Sudden Death by visitation from God and the informant is Joyner Ellis coroner.

Oh well can't have it too easy.

The death was probably sudden with no earlier illness. Stroke or aneurysm which was not diagnosed

They had to put something on the death certificate!

Yes Gins I have to agree it was the first time I've seen this wording on a certificate.

I have drowned in the canal, Heart stopped and your basic reasons but not from a visit from God.

How our world has changed as you couldn't put those words on a certificate today.
