I am a Freeman of the City of YORK, having claimed my right to be so via birthright through my GRT grandfather who became a Freeman of York following completion of his apprenticeship,his occupation was that of Combmaker & was a member of The COMBMAKERS GUILD. |

John Gunning it turns out it was, he would have been the father of my great great great grandfathers wife, he was awarded it on the 31st October 1856, I don't know anything else about him |

Apparantley its a copy of the thing I have, my grandfather got it, according to my dad it is an extract from the doomsday book (no idea what planet he's on today lol) |
