walter martin was born in felton st hoxton 16th sep 1885,he married emily h bolton formerly young 22nd sep 1922,we know walter was in the army out in egypt in ww1,after that he had various railway jobs,we know he died in watford in 1960.If anyone has any more information about walter we would love to hear from you many thanks stephen marden |

Thanks all for your replies. We have the info on Walter's early life up until he got married but cant find him anywhere in directories until his Watford address on his death certificate. |

Ancestry has UK, Railway Employment Records, 1833-1956 which tends to be entries in the appointment books. Not all companies are represented, nor all years. |

Stephen, have you seen the tree on Ancestry which has Walter on it? It has his Military Record and a photo of his house in Walthamstow. |
