Hi, I'm new to this site and wondered if anyone can give me some tips on how to use it lol. I'm searching for someone who was adopted, any help would be greatly appreciated :-)

down the side of the page left hand side theres a search box put in adoption theres LOADS of info .....

Peeps here will help but its hard work

Hi Tammy

It will be difficult to find the person you are looking for using this site.

If you know the birth name and year of birth you could use the "search" option above (top right of screen). Click on "search" and then click on "search all member trees". Search for the birth name and see if anyone has this person in their tree.

Other than that you could put your name on the Adoption Contact Register (google it for information) and hope that the adopted person does the same.

Thank you, both of you :-) I'll give it a try! I've already requested a form for the adoption register :-)
