Sorry but I'm just trying to get the hang of this :-) Is there a way of knowing who has looked at your family tree?

No one can look at your tree unless you give them permission. They have to send you a request to open your tree to them.

It's different on Anc*stry. You can type in a name and find i.e. their birth certificate. You can then click to find others that have the same person on their tree. It's a useful and interesting facility.

If the tree is a 'public tree' you can see where somebody else has fitted them into their tree. It's not always correct though, you need to do your own research. :-)

Everyone you've sent or received a private message ith is on your My Contacts list - it's under Message in the main menu bar above.
There's a column there labelled Tree.
Under it are two items - request (if you've ever asked to see their tree - if you can it says view) and allow (which says who you've let see your tree - course, there's no saying who was looking over their shoulder, or what they've copied or miscopied and distributed themselves to who knows).

I've sent you a pm, just so you can see this if you've never had previous contact with anyone.
