JERSEY CHANNEL ISLAND MARRIAGE

If someone got married on the island of Jersey in the 1980s, would the marriage be registered in the UK ? I only know the name of the bride, and can't find any info related to the marriage,

I feel sure it would be registered only in Jersey

Have you tried googling for info?

It WOULD only be registered in Jersey.

Thanks for the help. I'm going to email the Registrar on Jersey to see what info they can give me.
