I am trying to find the date of deaths of two members of extended family:

Judith M Scott died circa 2009 believed Surrey and her husband Alan William Scott died 2010/2011 again Surrey. I have tried all ways I know to put known information into the search without success. Can anyone help please?

Try https://probatesearch.service.gov.uk/#wills

There are entries which seem to fit your criteria but you'd only know for certain by purchasing the Grants (£10) or DCs. (£9.25)

Don't worry too much about the registry. There seem to be regional ones rather than by county + the executor may have sent to one closest to their abode/office.

their deaths are too recent to be on here, or on freebmd, or on ancestry ......... and possibly even on familysearch

Have you tried the relevant local newspapers?

Who told you these people had died?

Can't you ask that person (or persons) for the info?
