There is a 100 year rule on births in Scotland so you can not view the actual cert online

Scotlandspeople would give you the reference number to order the cert

finding a maiden name of a possible Scottish mum, like on our bmd in England, after 1917, Glasgow before ordering certificates please.

I have also bought credits on scotlands people, and wonder if I can find out anymore about a person after 1925 on there system which shows the address and occupation of someone and valuation of there property. thank you.nat.
