Appears to be The Camden Arms. Have a look at this web site.

www.pubshistory.com/SussexPubs/Brighton/brighton.shtml

It gives a bit of information about the pub

Does anyone know please, where I can find out the name of a closed pub in Brighton?

In the 1851 census, my great great great grandfather, Richard Eager, was listed at 34 and 35 Kemp Street, Brighton, as a Licenced Victualler. Although the building still exists, ( walked past it last Friday) it is no longer a pub/inn.

I have to admit that I do not need this information to help with research, I am just interested to know.

Many thanks,

Sue
