Hi
I don't know if this is the correct board to use.I have written to Support twice.I answered the first letter and the reply sent was word for word the first letter.
When using my tree page I click on to see matches to a relative.I can view the record matches but there is no response for the tree matches. It used to be so easy.
Support tells me I must look at the matches on the web page ???????.
I haven't a clue house this works.
If I click on matches on the small tree preview on the home page that works as it always did.Why doesn't it do the same on the actual tree ????
If I stop my subscription I know I won't be able to get in touch with other members but will I be able to keep my tree on Genes
Regards
Wendy

Hi Wendy

I've got the same problem using Internet Explorer 11 but if I use my other web browser, Chrome, it works OK.

Don't know why this should be though!

When you click on Record Matches it comes up as a little box on top of your tree.

When you click on Tree Matches it comes up as a separate page underneath the one with your tree on. Either shrink your tree or bring the other page on top to see it.

Don't worry - it took me a while to suss this out and you aren't the first person to have this problem.

Re stopping your subscription, you will be able to have your tree on GR as it is now.

Having recently got a new PC with Windows 8.1 & IE11, I tried this and found the same problem. There was however a popup that appeared which said that IE had blocked a popup from Genes with the options to Allow once or Always. Clicking on Always fixed the problem.

As Andysmum says you still keep your tree. However if you have any records from Genes make sure you have saved them separately on your PC as you probably won't be able to view them without a subscription.'
