Chrome and Firefox are Internet Browsers that you can use instead of Internet Explorer, which is probably what you have on your PC.

If that is the case and it is not version 11 then GR won't work fully and GR support recommend upgrading.

My old PC couldn't be upgraded to use Windows 11 so I used Firefox until I got a new PC.

It happens to me, mainly when I add a Father, I add all details, then Save, then press F5 as Kense suggests.

I’m using Chrome.

I've found GR is better going through Google Chrome. Have just put some info on my FT with no problems. Hope that helps.

Try pressing f5 or Refresh after Save. That should show whether the information in your tree has been updated.

It may depend on which browser and operating system that you are using.

Thanks for your answer Jacqueline. Things don't change do they. Dam annoying.
I have note pads on desk top with all the info. Trouble is when I get back to it it's all gobble de gook! lol
Ho hum....

It happens all the time........has been like it for months

It happens mostly when you've had your tree 'open' for a while.................

When you click 'save' you get a quick 'flick' .....................

If you log out of your tree............then return to it, you should find that the info is saved.

Trying to get GR to fix it isn't as easy though................

Is anyone else suffering with this problem?
I add all the info on each person, hit the save button, then move on to the next. When I go back to check I see there is nothing saved!
It's driving me nuts as it's been like this for about a week now.
