Denise's father was posted to Singapore R.N. base 1956-59? Which is where I met Denise. He worked in Plymouth!'s dockyard & I assumed they came from Plymouth. St Germans Cornwall is not far from Plymouth, it is possible that is where they lived and not Plymouth.

Hi Elsiemary.

Dennis or Denis is male

Denise is female ,,so its a man your looking for and not a female.

Could he have been born a little earlier than 1943,,,,, such as very late 1930s?,did he have an accent.?

Elsiemary Report 28 Sep 2015 21:20

The person I am searching for is Denise - a female. (Dennis is the male name).

Elsiemary Report 28 Sep 2015 21:24

I may have caused confusion by saying Denise 's father was employed in the dockyard. I do not know what his name is/was.
When I knew Denise, she was a schoolgirl in Singapore, then she returned to the UK.

Did you see the Denise Squire listed above that fits? Had a sister Carolyn?

I think it is the one born in 1942 Cornwall. Denise Marjorie)

Passenger lists on FMP show that she and her sister, Carolyn Betty, both travel to Singapore in 1950. Thery are travelling with Phyllis Arlette Squire (their mother). Their last UK address is Torpoint (Cornwall)

The family (including father, Horace Stanley) travel out to Singapore again in 1956. Their last UK address was Combe Down (Bath).

Horace died in Bath, Somerset, in 1995.

I think the marriage in Bath for Denise is the most likely one. I have sent a possible address (by pm) for them from 2013/ 2014 electoral register.
