I had 3 posts RR'd on the weekend of August 8/9

One was reinstated, 2 were removed on Tuesday August 11

This weekend I had 1 post RR'd, and it was removed today

I have received NO communications from GR to tell me why any of those posts were RR'd

Therefore I have no idea what I said that was wrong or considered wrong by 1 person


I'm just interested ............... has anyone received any such communication for RR'd posts in recent weeks / months??

Or is this another example of GR failing to produce?


Never mind the fact that it is apparently taking them 2 days into the work week before acting ......... that has been standard for several months. That fact may beg the question, does anyone work in the office on Mondays?

Bit of a shame you couldn't put it on all boards Sylvia ;-)

The posters on here are perhaps more likely to be the ones that won't be reported, but it would have been interesting to know whether the posters reported on FLR or FA boards ( often for privacy and data protection issues) are more likely receive notification than those reported on General.

She asked if anyone who'd had a post reported ever got an explanation from GR. Since a number of people looked but didn't post, she re-posted (and linked) to one on General.
This thread was reported yesterday, and the one on General was reported sometime this morning!!!

I had a post reported within 5 mins of posting the other day! It got removed per an e-mail from GR, when I asked why I was informed that posts could be removed even if you just quote a birth year!! How on earth can anyone get help if they can't even give an indication of the era?

Bit stupid if you ask me - I didn't even know the birth year - just early 1930s ;-)

Jeez, it just gets better (?) doesn't it....what is it with GR and the RR fiasco. We, paying members, shouldn't have to put up with this continual 'no explanation' from the powers that be.
No wonder people are leaving GR and moving over to the grown-ups sites.
