Yes, it has been there for several weeks now.

I used Edge without noticing a problem but use Firefox just for Ancestry now.

Logged into Ancestry this morning & saw this at the top of the page:-

!We're sorry. At this time, Ancestry.com doesn't support the Microsoft Edge browser. Please use Google Chrome or Mozilla Firefox while we work on this issue.

Since installing Windows10 I generally still use IE, but thought I would give Edge a spin today.

Anyone else had this message?

Probably due to their new style...

When GR mucks around with their tree etc all sorts of error messages come up and trees vanishing etc.

FMP had so many problems when they altered things. It got to the point where a FB group was formed called Can't Find my Past.

So I guess it is Ancestry's turn to fall off the Merry-go-Round.

I have my tree on Legacy and they actually listen to what people want. Though they have not had a message board until recently when they set one up on FB. Up until then you just let them know what you would like and if there were enough people of similar minds you would get a reminder to update and everyone would get an updated format and no data was lost. They do this for the free trees and the paid ones.

I always seem to have more trouble on ancestry.au than I do on Ancestry.uk.

If I go in via my bookmark on UK link I am there every time.. not so with the Australian one.

Also, if I try and come on on another computer by typing in the UK link and then wanting to sign in. Up will come a directive that I should be going to the Australian link and not the UK, however if I want to continue to UK hit enter which I do and we go round and round in circles.

Just because I live in NZ the software is such that it believes I do not know what I am doing and should use Australia... nup my ancestry is mostly UK.. and while I know you can get the same information regardless the UK link does not default to search only in Australia and New Zealand every time when I am looking up a UK person whereas the Australian one does. I have to continually override it.

In answer to your question Alan... that does happen to me sometimes on the Australian link.
