FindMyPast has the British Newspaper Archives, providing the library in question offers that option.

I think Lancashire libraries offers on-line access to 19th century newspapers to library members.

Unfortunately, Lancashire Libraries no longer allow on-line membership to all and sundry. You have to live in Lancashire (or know someone whose address you can use!!)

Check with your own local library; they may have something similar which you can access from home.

If you read e-books, they may also have a library of those you can temporarily down load ;-)

Hi Lorraine,

Nottingham Library has on line 19th century newspapers which I can access from home with my library card if you would like me to do a lookup for you.

Hi Lorraine,

Well it looks like Feb 1891 is missing from the site but I don't think it would have said where burial took place.

I do think her death would be in the newspaper as in 1892, 93, 94, 98 they bou in the Memoriam column:

Taylor: in affectionate remembrance of Sarah Ann Taylor the beloved daughter of John and selina Taylor who departed this life February 8th 1891. Gone but not forgotten.

And then in Feb 1900 there is this one:
Taylor: In loving memory of our dear sister Sarah Ann Taylor, who died 8 February 1891. Thou wilt ever be remembered by thy loving brothers and sisters.

Have added her to my list of look ups for you and if you want me to recheck the grave and interments you have for you I can do that too.

Hi Lorraine,

Sarah Ann Taylor, John & Sarah Leatherland are all buried in the same grave in the General Cemetery.

Also you had asked about Annie Selby 1918 well she is in General Cemetery too.

If you bear with me I'll pm you all the burial records, it may take some time as I not sure how many attachments I can do to 1 pm.
