Long shot folks, don't suppose anyone has come across a William Wood in the paper with a photo. Don't live nearby to come and check. With it being a small village, I didn't know if anyone had come across it. I have all his details and know he is on the war memorial. I have all his prisoner information and regiment number and where he lived, just curious as to what he looked like. WW1 Many thanks folks. :-D

Have you looked to see if anyone else has him in their tree? Your best bet for finding a photo is to find one of his descendants who might possibly have one.

Hi,
Thank you, hadn't found the Wilfred one, I suppose it could be theirs, I tried to find the husband, as I know his name, but it all came to a blank, it had an address in Leeds for them, but knew about Scarborough, I will try and look for Wilfred, thank you
