Marriages at British Embassy Paris

I am interested in a marriage of about 1858 which is reported to have taken place at the British Embassy in Paris. Where can I look for records of such marriages? It doesn't appear in 'Consular Records'
Can anyone advise me please?

Have you looked at both British Nationals Overseas 1812-2005 & British Overseas marriages? They are seperate record sets

There may be something on Family search French collection

Try Familysearch first. Ancestry have a similar set as them

Paris, France & Vicinity Marriages, 1700-1907 (in French)
Paris, France & Vicinity Marriage Banns, 1860-1902 (in French)

Or if you like to give the couple's names, I can look them up for you. (If they're there - I'm not sure how exhaustive this site is.)
