Of possible interest to those in the London & Home Counties area:-

LDS records.
Years ago I used to visit their Family History Centre opposite the Science Museum. When the Temple was to be refurbished the records were moved to the National Archives at Kew. They are now being moved again (around 60,000 microfilms & fiche), and their new/permanent home is within the Society of Genealogists building. The records are expected to be available early July.

Jewish records.
The library of the Jewish Genealogical Society of Great Britain was moved to the SoG building earlier this year. Anyone wishing to access these records should check for opening times. Details on their website www.jgsgb.org.uk
