Can anyone recommend a Family Tree software that I can buy rather than keep my tree on Genes. I need it to be easy to use as I am not that brilliant at IT and to be able to pull off reports.

Thank you
Sharon

There are lots!

I use Roots Magic, which has a free basic version (which is the one I use), from which reports of various sorts can be printed, and also two versions to buy.

Free version:

To buy:

Specifications:

I use FamilyTreeMaker 2005 - an old version but it's good enough for what I want and easy to use. Easy to add information and you can print of different ancestor/descendant trees etc.

Mine’s Family Historian.

Although it has hidden depths, it can also be used at the most basic level. If you’re using it while connected to the internet it’ll produce ‘hints’ from FMP. Obviously you’d need to subscribe to FMP to access them although they might give you a clue to look for the records on other sites.

It’s possible to download a 30 day free trial version.
