	I have a date of birth on a Candian death certificate for Leonard Whitfield Senior. Birth -22 August 1924 - Ontario Death - 12 September 1988 - Vancouver Census 1931 for York - Ontario with father, Welsey Senior, wife / family 2 sons 1. Leonard age 7 ..... ( death certificate shows born 22 august 1924 ) 2. James aged 9 ..... ( not known ) I cannot finds a birth/baptism for either sons under these names. Can they be adopted so registered under a different name ? thanks for any advice

	Lenard's birth (and James's) is too recent to be online. (Name spelled Lenard in 1931 and at death.) Ontario births are online only to 1917. https://www.archives.gov.on.ca/en/tracing/vsmain.aspx Click on the link to ServiceOntario ,on that page, to see info re ordering a later birth cert. - but you need to be "next of kin, executor or estate administrator".
	Researching: Old genealogists never die.....they just lose their census.
