Not many people use Genes for research - other sites are so much better.

There are free sites you can use- freebmd, free reg and freecen. All finish .org.uk

Family search is also free. Many libraries have free access to Ancestry and/ or FMP.

If the relatives were Scottish then you have to use Scotlands People.

Advice / questions much as per Gwyn -

? Who/What are you searching for and where are you searching.

You may be searching too specifically where a broader search may bring results

If you'd like to give some details one of the helpers on here may be able to point you in the right direction on this site - or look elsewhere for you.

Where are you looking?...Is it on this site?

If you would like to give details of who you are looking for, where, and on which site, other members will try their best to help.
