Could they have been adopted together and were being registered in their new names?

Did the parents marry after the children were born? Thus causng re-registration
Are there any notes attached to the records?

Are the children all recorded with the parents in the 1939 Register?

I'm not sure what you mean, Lesley.

The 1939 Register (not 1935) shows birth dates.
It has nothing to do with birth registration records.
Are you saying that the same date of birth has been listed for each of these people?

Or are you talking about births registered in 1935 - nothing to do with the 1939 Register?
It may perhaps be that two of the children were not registered when they should have been.

If you tell us the names, we can have a look.

Does anyone know why in the 1935 register 3 births would be registered at the same time for 3 siblings who are not triplets - 2 of which I know from other documents were born before 1935. Thanks Lesley
