Hello Helen, Thanks for the lookup offer. Could you please do a search in 1841 & 1851 for William Crickmore Druce, born Bury St Edmunds, Suffolk in 1827. So far he's been very elusive and I wonder if the surname may have been mis-transcribed as either Dance or Bruce. Thanks and regards, Kay

I searched freebmd for all births between 1842 and 1851 in Berkshire and there was only one result SUMNER Alice Jane Reading VI 223 Raycon This name makes sense (eg same middle name as daughter). Hi Helen, Sorry about parent's names - senior moment there. Father was Thomas Charles Druce b. about 1796 at ?Witney Oxfordshire, mother was Elizabeth born about 1800 possibly at Bungay Suffolk. I have Thomas ( with new wife) on 1851 & 1861 but no William on 1841 or 1851. Wiiliam emigrated to Australia about 1852 - I suppose he could have left earlier but should have been around in 1841. There was a brother George and also I think a Charles. Regards, Kay

Hello Helen Could you look for Harriett and Robert Smith b.abt 1824 and 1815 inOrford Suffolk.In 1841 they were in Woodbridge Suffolk and 1861 Ipswich Suffolk.He was a shoemaker.Could you please look for 1851 and 1871 though they may have died before1871.Thanks so much. Heather
