Ancestry stuck in dark ages!

Trying to put part of my tree on Ancestry...it insists my fathers surname should be the same as my surname, and won't let me enter two different surnames. (My mum had a year long 'indiscretion' with my dad in 1975, who was married to someone else at the time!!) |

You should be able to enter more than one spouse or partner for your mother |

The only thing I can think of is to take your father off. Add yourself as your mum's child and then add your father. The only thing is it won't actually show that you are his daughter. Best Wishes Jane |

Thanks all. I'm gong to have to do that Victoria, as nothing else works. (I'm sure my Ancestry is different to everyone elses, lol). |
