I have been trying to have my tree open and a contacts tree open at the same time so that I can compare them and find where contacts tree fits in but it keeps putting the trees on same page. I used to be able to have 2 trees open at same time. Is this another part of the so called better changes Genes have made. Does anyone know how to get round this problem. A really fed up Christine |

hi, someone else has same problem, there is a message below this one mentioning it, however on the other one someone mentinoed a way of doing it if you open your family tree and while you have your family tree on the page in front of you, hold down the CTRL button and N and it will open a new window and your tree will then show on two windows, you can then choose your shared tree from the dropdown list on one of them - i just tried it and it worked stephanie |

Thanks very much yes it does work but it was a lot simplier before they messed it up. They have altered so much and not much of it is for the better. Christine |
