There wasn't a Heyrod St in Manchester in 1861 Or 1841......... I've checked on findmypast............... Reg

Heyrod St comes up on 1881 census Civil Parish: Manchester Registration District: Manchester Sub-reg district: Market Street Which will not help at all in finding it on an earlier census as probably comes under a different sub-reg district I think that a lot of Manchester census for 1851 was water damaged.

found 76 Heyrod street its on the first page London road areadistrict 1z next house is 21 Portugal st. Probably ruined with the water damage! thanks everyone

Carol I have rellies on Heyrod Street Manchester from 1861 onwards - I have them at Mount street in 1851 though:-( I dont know if this helps at all, but in 1861 they were at 9 Heyrod St and that ref is RG9/2946 - think its page 34. In 1851 they are at 3 Mount street which is HO107/2228 page 56. I dont know how near this is to Heyrod Street - or if Heyrod street was there this early, but it may give you some pointers:-) Bacardi X

HI found Heyrod st on 1848 map think they may have been on water damaged page just my luck
