My grandfather 'skiped' ship in 1892ish in Sydney, Australia. He was caught stealing a chicken from a farm that was about two days walk from Sydney. He was locked up by the farmer and the local police officer came and fetched him and took him back to the ship....... Any suggestions as to if this would have been recorded, and if so where would I look??? Kathlyn |

Kathlyn, Try the newspapers in NSW in Australia for the time as they recorded everything that was going on. Or if he was picked up by the police see if the NSW Police Force Archives have a record of it. Heather |
