HI information regarding the fyfe family who came from hamilton scotland dont have much infO other than fathers name andrew fyfe dont know birth date married to ?? had six children ANY ONE ANY IDEAS ON WHERE TO BEGIN !!!!!!! ANDREW FYFE WAS MY GRANDFATHER BORN AT A GUESS AROUND THE 1880S HE WAS MARRIED DO NOT KNOW WIFES NAME HAD SIX CHILDREN ONE BEING MY MOTHER JEAN WILSON FYFE D.O.B 29.1.1915 SIBLINGS NAMES BARBARA,MARGARET, BELLA COULD BE ISABELLA JAMES AND ANDREW FAMILY LIVED IN QUARRY ST HAMILTON OWNED SHOPS INCLUDING HABERDASHARY AND FUNERAL DIRECTORS? |

Where have you had the name Andrew Fyfe from? Who was he, what relation to you is he? You must have some idea when he married or was born if not where. You need his marriage cert to find out WHEN he was born, will give you somewhere to start. Sam x |

You need to give more info than that for people to help. Who is Andrew Fyfe, when was he born - roughly - what are the kids names, the wifes name, what was his occupation. You work backwards from the solid facts you have. Ill bump up the Tips for Newbies for you. |

If you know he fathered six children, you must have some idea of when they were born................. There is no record on any of the Scottish censuses of an Andrew Fyfe in Hamilton........... Reg |
