How do I trace an ancesters marriage if I only have the grooms name and the brides surname but not her maiden name or the year of their marriage |

what clues do you have ? a time frame , if even a loose one? the approx date depends on where you look |

Have you tried tracing any of their children's baptisms or birth entries? Were they around for any of the census reports? or was this before 1841? |
