I live in st helens merseyside and i have taken photos for other people who live out of the area. it might have been a house or a school or a gravestone and then emailed onto that person for their collection. if we had a list of people and places that would offer to do this for other members then that would be great dont you think there is probably a link for this already as you are all so on the ball on here but i cant find it. if not then here goes - i can cover the st helens area and also leigh lancashire and newton le willows lancashire if anyone is interested. i would love anyone who would be able to do dawley/wellington in shropshire addlington in lancashire - dalziel which is motherwell in scotland thanks love linda x

Hi Linda, That's a great idea - I'm sorry I'm not in the area you're particularly after otherwise I'd give it a go for you. :-) There is a website which specialises in this type of thing, called Random Acts of Genealogical Kindness (www.raogk.org). It doesn't seem to be very widely advertised, but it works quite well. Chris
