I am really getting fed up with this site I have been given permission to view a tree and all I get is an error message, this happens every time I get permission to view so I end up giving up. I dont think I will be rejoining when my subscription runs out. |

I have the same problem, and what I have to do is go to the common person in the tree,in my tree and then go to the top right hand corner where you can select other tree and go to the tree there and it will take you to their tree, long winded I know, but it works give it a try Ann |

Tree access has been working on here now for several months so it is no longer teething problems. However for it to work it does require you to check a few things. 1. You need to have macromedia flash player installed. Most people do because most modern websites need this to display screen properly. 2. You need to have pop-ups enable as the tree opens in a new window. If you have pop-ups disabled, then you should enable them for this site 3. Make sure toy internet cache isn't full by clearing out your temp files on a regular basis. This seems to be fairly important as if there is insufficient room to load the tree page odd things seem to happen Val, What is the error message you are getting? Chis, What do you mean by 'kicks you off the internet' |

thanks for all your replies Peter its just a yellow triangle at the bottom of the blank page. I have found if I hold down the ctrl key it will go to the page. Mark I am not whinging as you put it. What do you mean Rome wasnt built in a day ??????? GR had been going longer than a day and for the last few months nothing but trouble. I have had lots of contacts ,loads who do not have anything to do with my lot, and a few that do. Of which I am grateful , but I have been a member for quite a few years now, so would expect some contacts, wouldnt you ????????????? . |
