.........I've just had this reply from genes in reply to a letter I sent over the weekend regarding all my messages that have disapeared from my contact list. Jenny Thanks for your email. I am afraid that when you now delete an email from your inbox or sent items folder, the copy from the Your Contacts page will also be deleted. We realise that this is a popular facility and have asked our development team if the copy can be re-instated. I am sorry for the inconvenience. Best regards, Alex S The Genes Support Team |

I'm getting trees opening to me on a daily basis and requests to open my tree. I have only myself on this site. A contact has just explained that she contacted me because of hot matches. The names she told me about were never in my tree in the first place, even when my tree was on this site. Margaret |

Jenny My problem is the opposite to yours. I keep getting messages from people and when I delete them from the inbox and the contact box they reappear the next day. Some of the messages are from 2004. (Peter Morgella if you are reading this!) You are still reappearing in my contact box every day. We must stop meeting like this LOL Margaret |

Hi Kath hows your back??. I prefered it when messages were sent straight to your email address instead of just getting a message to say you have a message lol then you could save them to your files. |

It looks like they have now restored all the messages so thats why they went off air for a while, thanks genes team. Jenny |

Bless 'em ... :-) Some contacts are appearing with whom I have not had any contact! (ie no messages within the contact, if you see what I mean, though GR suggested that maybe I had deleted the messages at some time - no!) |
