Irish marriages

Does anybody know where i can find a marriage for my great grandparents. as far as i know rumor has it that my g grandad was from ireland and a horses groom. i have no idea where from and have been unable to find his marriage to my g grandmother although all there children were born in the uk? thanks tracie

Hi Maureen Thank you so much for the offer, really appreciate it. Dont have much information for you except that the groom was called Charles Frederick Sims (bricklayer in 1936 in the UK), and the bride was called Elizabeth Ringwood. Have no dates of birth for them either as I am working backwards, but their first child was born in 1914 in Essex in the UK. I am not sure if either surname is Irish, they dont sound it, but two members of my family have said that they came from Ireland and that Charles was a horses groom before he came to the UK.
