Hi, Is there SKS who can tell me how to get my printer up and working again. The computer tells me that the problem is with ` spooling`. Jay. |

Hi Hovis. That`s the problem with `spooling`. It won`t let you delete any of the waiting print jobs so I`m stuck as even turning either the computer or printer off doesn`t solve it either. Thanks anyway, Jay. |

There is a bug in XP which sometimes means you can't delete a job, and re-starting the printer or the PC doesn't help either, so it is necessary to stop and restart the printer services. 1. Click Start, then Control Panel 2. Select Performance & Maintenance 3. Select Administrative Tools 4. Select Services 5. Select Printer Spooler to open the properties window 6. Click Stop to stop the service. Once the service is stopped, click Start to restart the service 7.Click OK to close the Print Spooler Properties window |
