Lumalan Abscess?

Hi. I have just viewed the image of my ancestors death record on Scotlandspeople (thank you Maureen and Mhairi the other day with your advise on this site) and cannot understand the cause of death. Two words, 2nd definately abscess but cannot read the first. It looks like Lumalan but I have never heard of this and google brings up nothing. Has anyone ever heard of any time of abscess that this could be? Kind Regards, Claire |

Hi , Luminol is a drug used to treat epilepsy these days. Think its been around for a while.Could have been a side effect of treatment. Hope this helps x |

lumina and melan are abscesses they are quite dangerous and more so back then |
