birth confusion

can anyone help me please. i have a lady called edith lilian francis barns. i have hit a wall with her birth. the only 1 i can find on ancestry is 1913 medway MMN cook. in her husbands army book she is listed as abt 1904 dover. on lds her MMN is cribben. i cant find a record with MMN as cribben - i have looked from 1900 through til 1913 when i found the 1 with cook. any ideas? |

The marriage cert should give you a better idea of when she was born.........and tell you her father's name and occupation Who did she marry? And when? Reg |

her husband was reginald edward haylock - i dont have marriage cert (it on order) but i do have the date from his army book. they married 18/09/1932 maidstone |

I think you would be wise to wait until the cert arrives, as it will give you some concrete info from which to work. Reg |

This birth has to be it: Births Jun 1913 Barns Edith L F Cook Medway 2a 1478 There can't be too many Edith LF Barns and it's in the same district they married. Maybe you could look for her death? Rose |
