I have tried several times to view the marriage index for my relative Grace Hatch - Sunderland Vol 10a Page 766 but i can't seem to install the viewer. She is definately on there I just can't get the page up, could somebody have a look for me to see whether she was married to Mathew Sinclair or Joseph Simm, there is a bit of confusion and I would like to clear this up. you wont be to tell who she was married to online .you will need to buy the cert. OR if she married within census years you could search both husbands names on the next census after the marriage and see what the christian name is of each spouse thus elimating one husband. Shirley

On the Free BMD site there is a birth of a Joseph SIMM (mother's maiden name HATCH) in Dec qtr of 1911, Gateshead dist, ref. 10a 1819. Could this be one of their children ? Carolyn

Thanks for looking guys I have now managed to confirm that Grace married John Simm and Grace's sister Jane married Mathew Sinclair. I thought this was the case all along but the contact I have had this week has got it wrong on his tree and I just wanted to clarify! Many Thanks!
