	Well you can use www(.)gro(.)gov(.)uk - remove the brackets but if you are ever unsure when ordering the cert that you are going to get the right one - if it is outside of London I always find it better to contact the local records/registry office that covers the district you are after - most dont charge a search fee if you give them the year, quarter, name and specify certain details such as John Smith born 1910 in the July Quarter - father was William Smith a Bricklayer or something - then if its right they issue it and take your £7 - if not they return your cheque. Unlike the GRO who take about £3 I think if they have checked and its not right and just refund you the rest.

	Not the best site - the only site you should order from online - there are some real con artistes out there charging up to £50 a cert!! This link takes you straight to the right page: http://www.gro.gov.uk/gro/content/certificates/
