Looks to me as Harwick House but they've inserted a d to make it Hardwick House. The head is Lady Caroline H. Townley, wife of landed proprietor. Alice Mary Townley, dau, 14 Caroleine F. Norrey, dau, married, 23, wife of peer's son Montague A. Lord Norrey, son-in-law, 24, peer's son

Big house hold in Cheriton Hythe RG 9/552 page 25 looks like Harwich house Lady Caroline ? Mine's William Heritage servant (as usual) on the next page, 26 could you just confirm address as it looks like they are trying to add a letter. Many thanks I hope no one minds me doing these checks, I always think two checks are better than one or none. Please say if I'm being a pain Marie Kent
