Something afoot with the Contacts page?

I can't open anyone's tree, not even my own. If it ain't broke, don't fix it, I reckon. Suzanne

Yes, just had another look. The four messages which showed my maiden name and birth year are still showing my maiden name and birth year (albeit my new, invented ones, lol). Everything else which didnt have a name and date in the message title has now become N/A. And - when I try to tinker with anything, it mucks up the nice date descending order and returns the list in random date order. Clicking off the page and returning to it restores the date descending order. Still, at least they are trying to fix it...... OC

Jeanette, try clicking the box in the right hand corner on the tree page and choose the tree you want.

trouble is on some trees going through contact list you get your own tree instead of theirs. Jeanette

OC If it was meant to be a fix, it hasn't worked! I have N/A in all the Relations columns that were blank, ......but I also still have the name and birth date for contacts made upto yesterday! I have also received TWO 'I have shared my tree' messages from the same guy in the last 24 hours. I responded to the first, and told him he should delete me. Now, I got another one this morning!

I understand this is the correction of the problem of showing tree holder's birth name and date which has arisen in the last few days. OC

Oh good. :-) I never got the problem with going to my own tree instead of the contact's tree, but at least I don't get the error saying it can't find a tree for a contact when there's no name in the Relation column now. Chris

Yes, This look like the fix to correct the problem where you went to your own tree. If you click in the green tree, you get the tree owner, on the connected name straight to that person

I just checked my Contacts page, and where there were blanks in the Relation column, N/A now appears. If there is a name in the Relation column, and you can see the contact's tree, you can click on the name and it takes you straight to that person on the contact's tree. If you click on the View link in the tree column, it takes you to the owner of the tree. This was only on my first page of contacts, mind you, but if you keep hitting the refresh button, it eventually appears on the other pages too. Keeps coming and going a bit though. Anybody else got this? Chris
