Never mind, Helen - you'll probably find that tomorrow all your deleted messages come back again - that's what happened to me, after I'd just spent half a day sorting through my message box and deleting the ones that I didn't want... |

Thank you all for your replies, it is much appreciated. I didn't realise deleting messages from the inbox would also move them from the contacts bit. I am so cross, I had two years of messages on! But will remember now no to delete any new ones. I can't get my head around this flaming new site/layout. The new tree is very small print and also quite slow. Thanks anyway for your help, it is much appreciated. Helen |

Ditto Helen. Do not erase any of your in and out box, especially if you are thinking they will be saved in 'Your Contacts', because they won't. Another gripe is that for all these three boxes there is a regulator for each one, but only one is necessary at present. Myself, I'd like my 'in and out box' to run date ascending and Your Contacts in alphabetical order. Gawd wot a mess, Derek |

from the looks of it if you have deleted messages then any ref to them are also lost when you go to contacts |

Sorry, just to add to the above, I have deleted all the messages from my inbox to clear up so to speak. Do you think that is why I can't view any messages received in my contacts file? I would have thought once they were in the contacts file, the indbox was redundant. Helen |

you have to click on the name in the inbox for the messages to come up . the same goes for sent messages. each message tho is shown separately so you need to click each time and go back to the list for the later one. They arent listing all the messages together now. Shirley |

Hi, I don't know about everyone else, but I am having real problems with this site now. Can somebody please help! I have just gone to contacts list, clicked on a name and only my sent messages have come up, none of the received ones. Before they started messing around, we could view all correspondence received and sent under a particular contact, Have they moved the received messages somewhere else, or am I just being really thick here? I have just deleted messages from my inbox, but that didn't seem to be a problem before. In anticipation of reply, many thanks Helen |
