That is the thing though Michael, it only brought up the listing like that on one occasion i.e. with how many pages there were. Usually, it just say 1-10, 11-20, 21-30 etc and I have to click for ages if I want to make a thorough search. |

No sorry this is not what I mean I once had results where on the bottom right it said Page 1 of say 17 pages etc. I have never had them listed like that before and I was wondering how I could have them like that again. It just lets you know how many pages you have to wade through. |

normally the one you want will be near the top if not click on left hand side for census's or BMD. then you will just census for the 1 year Jeanette |

Yes thanks for that Michael but I find it a very difficult site to negotiate. Do you know how I might find the listings with the amount of pages as well? |

When I enter a person's details into Ancestry it brings up a huge list, some very often not evenwith the name I entered. You can go on forever from page to page not knowing how many more pages there are. One day however, the listing appeared and it said Page 1 of so and so etc. This at least gave me some idea of how many pages I had to plough through. How do I do that again, does anyone know please? |
