Just press CTRL+N to open a second copy of your tree then in the new window select which other tree you want to view from the drop down list in the top LH corner. Still works for me. |

Hi again, Sorry for being a pain. Yes I can view the contacts tree using the drop down menu, but then my tree disappears! Its so frustrating because up until a couple of days ago, I could open a few trees and compare them by flicking from window to window. It seems I can only view one tree at a time at the moment. I have a lot of names on my tree and need to have my open, the same time as a contact so that I can flick between the two to compare data. Wonder if this is just a glitch? Helen |

Hi, Yes that what I was trying to do, same as I have always done. I open up my tree (which automatically comes up in a separate window) then click on contacts to view one of their trees, it then opens their tree in the same window as where my tree is (over-riding it so to speak). I have always been able to flick between two trees before. Helen |

at mo if you get tree from contacts some trees do show your tree its a glitch that still hasn't been sorted you can see them by opening tree then pulling tree list down dont know how to get 2 trees up at once though Jeanette |

Sounds silly but have you tried opening a second window. Then you can click between the 2 trees. T.O.R. ;o)) |

Hi there, Up until recently I was able to open up my tree, then go to a contact and open up their tree and be able to compare the two 'side by side'. Today, every time I open my tree, then go back to contacts to get their tree, it just keeps coming up with my tree. I hope this makes sense. What my question really is - how can I get two trees up together to compare? Thank you in anticipation of any replies. Helen |
