Hi Can anyone help me-what site is the best to try and find bmd records post 1911-Ancestry has some up to about 1915 but I need records for the 1920's and 30's |

Ancestry has all BMDs from 1837 to 2004 |

The complete images can be viewed on Ancestry here:- http://www.ancestry.*co.uk/search/rectype/vital/freebmd/bmd.aspx Rewove star. They go from 1837-2004, but have to be trawled year by year, they are not transcribed. They are free to view, just register your e-mail address. |

Ann, the name search ones are freebmd on ancestry. The complete index is a much harder old job to search, image by image, quarter by quarter. You can use familyrelatives.org - which is pay to view - to search by name/area/time span from 1866-1920. Only use one first name as it glitches with more than one. |
