Can someone help me please,adding to tree

I have been trying to add partner,filled in everything i know with a birth year of 1812.Every time i try and save it, it is telling me to add a 4 digit bith year eg 1960, but iam it's 1812 can't see what iam doing wrong, has anyone else had this problem. Gill |

Hi Gill, there are a few threads about this, it appears to be a gremlin in the GR system, it appears it is not possible to add a marriage date at the moment, hope they get it fixed quickly. However, it is not a problem to me, I enter my tree into an offline programme and upload the Gedcom file from that. |

Are you adding it in the section on the left which says birth year or the one on the right which asks for date of birth? |
