Thank you Elaine for your advice. The year I am interested in is 1963 so they probably are not available but I've e-mailed the relevant Records Office anyway just to make sure. Lyndsey

It depends on the year, I went to the records office yesterday and my year was missing. There is still a closure rule so it is probably worth ringing the records office that the report would be covered by and then they will advise you. If it is a year that can be viewed (mine was 1897 ) they will tell you if they have docuements for that year. It may save you time searching the papers first! Elaine

Hi Is it possible to obtain actual copies of inquest report or is the best you can hope for getting a newspaper article which reports that one took place? Thank you Lyndsey
