Seiger Pallett Maker (Master)-what is it?

Hello Heath, I have to dash off to work now but can't put my hand on where I got the info from, most likely a census. However, I have noe re- checked the birth certs of his children and one says 'lever pallett maker' and another says watchmaker, so that has sorted that out, I think - you just don't see what's under your nose sometimes. My Gt Gt grandfather was a Seiger Pallett Maker - does anyone know what that is (his father was a jeweller - is it connected with that trade?) I would appreciate and info. Many thanks Jean |
