I have just read another thread and realised that it is happening to quite a few people. Anyway thankyou for putting my mind at rest. I hope he doesn´t get upset by the e-mail I sent him. I did try to be diplomatic but more or less said 'why do you want to see my tree if you´ve already got it'. |

Its the new set up on genes that has a blip. what you seeing is YOUR tree and not his. he cant see your tree till you give him permission.. Loads of other peeps have found the same and panicked into thinking someone has filched their tree.!! Dont worry he cant have seen your tree if you havent given him access, Shirley |

Yes, it has been happening to everyone for the last couple of days, there are dozens of threads about it. You need to select his tree from the drop down box. OC |

I had a request to see my tree tonight but with no previous contact. I was able to view the tree of this person and lo and behold it was my tree!!! He wasn´t on it at all. There was nobody apart from my family and the families of other people on GR who connected to my family distantly. I am totally bewildered. Has this happened to anyone else? |
