I want to order a marriage cert. for Henry Beauchamp and his wife Ellen married 1857 Hammersmith. As this is pre 1900 I need the GRO index could someone please have a peek for me, I checked on free bmd but could not find it, many thanks, OC&G |

Thanks Georgina, 'fraid I had a silly moment there; his wife is Ellen not Sarah; that is his Mum. I'm multi-tasking also known as yelling at teenage son to get out of bed, yipee Easter hols. have started. But please check Henry and Ellen ,1st child born 1858. |

Their daughter was called Ellen. There is a Henry and Helen Fry married Kingston 1856, might try that as Henry born other side of the Thames in Hampton Wick, but I always thought they were maried in Hammersmith. |

I think the marriage you have found in Hampton Wick is the right one, Henry was born in Hampton Wick according to the census's. Georgina. |
